Four Queer Books to Read This Fall!
Four queer books I recommend to read this Fall season.
If you want to read queer books this fall season, here are my top five book recommendations.
Splinter by Jasper Hyde - A super queer Sleepy Hollow Retelling
Confetti Realms by Nadia Shammas - A Palestinian graphic novel set on Halloween with a full queer cast. There’s talking animals, and a quest. It’s so much fun!
Northranger by Rey Terciero - YA Graphic novel set in the South, a Northanger Abbey retelling. Great for fans of horror movies.
Ace of Spades by Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé - A YA academic thriller with queer joy. When the only two Black students at Nevus Academy are picked as Senior Prefects, things start going awry as texts revealing the students’ secrets are spread throughout the school by an anonymous texter, Aces.
If you want to get into the fall vibes and tackle your Fall reads, I’m hosting my first of many seasonal weekend readathons. Starting at midnight in your time zone from Friday, October 17th to Monday, October 20th. It’s going to be held through my private Discord. We’re going to be updating all weekend, and for extra motivation, I’ll be hosting live reading sprints. Read as much or as little as you want, all I ask is that you’re reading a book with queer rep or by a BIPOC author.
It’s free to all members of my Patreon or Bindery.
